Connect your AI

Connect your AI to Gina

Gina has a public MCP server. Paste one URL into the assistant you already use, sign in with your Gina account, and that assistant can send Gina work, read your threads and check what is waiting on you.

Quick answer

Add https://app.talktogina.ai/api/mcp as a remote MCP server (some apps call it a custom connector). Assistants that support sign-in, like Meta Muse, Claude and ChatGPT, open a Gina sign-in page; tools that take a key, like Cursor, use an agent key from the Access page in the Gina console.

Gina’s MCP server https://app.talktogina.ai/api/mcp

Any other MCP client

Add a remote server with the URL https://app.talktogina.ai/api/mcp. If the client supports OAuth, let it sign in with your Gina account. If it doesn’t, send the header Authorization: Bearer <your key> with an agent key from the console. The server speaks Streamable HTTP (JSON-RPC 2.0 over POST) and publishes its sign-in details at app.talktogina.ai/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource, so clients that discover OAuth on their own can set themselves up.

What a connected AI can do

You choose the permissions when you sign in or create the key. Give each tool only what it needs.

PermissionWhat your AI can doGina tools
read:tasksRead threads, what is waiting on you, routines and files.threads_list, threads_read, approvals_list, schedules_list, files_list, files_read
write:tasksSend Gina tasks and run a routine now.threads_send_task, schedules_fire_now
approve:tasksApprove or deny an open request, with a note.approvals_answer

A connection never gets more access than your own role. Answering approvals needs an owner or admin, or someone named as an approver, and Gina still checks each decision against your approval rules. Keys expire after 90 days by default, and you can revoke any connection from the Access page in the console.

Put your AI on watch, let Gina do the work

The most useful connection is a watcher. Your assistant keeps an eye on a place Gina can’t see, and hands each find to Gina as a task. Gina drafts the reply in your voice and puts it in your approvals. Nothing goes out until you say yes.

Before you start you need a Gina agent. Gina is invite-only for now: book a call and we’ll set yours up. The full reference is in Gina’s docs.

ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Meta Muse, Cursor, Perplexity and Google are trademarks of their owners. Gina connects to them over the open Model Context Protocol; that doesn’t mean they endorse or partner with Talk To Gina.
