Uses a key
- Open Customize in the sidebar, then MCPs; or edit
~/.cursor/mcp.json(every project) or.cursor/mcp.jsoninside one project. - Add this server:

- Create keys in the Gina console under Access → API keys. Give the key only the scopes Cursor needs.

Once Gina is connected, paste this into Cursor. Anything Gina drafts waits in your approvals.

What Cursor can do with your Gina
You choose the permissions when you sign in or create the key.

A connection never gets more access than your own role. Answering approvals needs an owner or admin, or someone named as an approver, and Gina still checks each decision against your approval rules. Keys expire after 90 days by default, and you can revoke any connection from the Access page in the console.
